  • Edited and fact-checked all articles in the spring and summer issues of Literacy Today, the organization’s print magazine, which publishes around 15 articles per issue ranging from 800-1200 words covering topics related to education and literacy
  • Researched and wrote two articles for Literacy Today ranging from 800-1200 words relating to the organization’s conference events and new editorial teams for organization’s journals

  • Editorial intern for Sampsonia Way, the online magazine of Pittsburgh’s City of Asylum

  • Conducted and transcribed an interview with Emily Parker, a published American researcher and writer

The Lala | November 2016-present

  • Editorial contributor to the Lala, a popular lifestyle website with a feminist bent devoted to college-aged women
  • Write a 500-word article every other week on topic of my choice

UDress Magazine | Newark, DE | Fall 2013-Spring 2016

  • Associate editor of UDress, the University of Delaware’s fashion and lifestyle magazine
  • Started as a writer for the Real Wide World section, then editor of the Fashion Fresh section, and finally associate editor
  • Contributed articles ideas and edited all content for grammar and style; magazine publishes around 40 articles per semester ranging from 300-1000 words covering everything from fashion, beauty, health, lifestyle, and current events
  • Planned and directed all photo shoots with the editor-in-chief and executive editor; coordinated with the 90 editors, writers, models, photographers, stylists, and makeup artists to organize 25 photo shoots
  • Updated and distributed the magazine’s style guide to the entire 25-person editorial team

University of Delaware Faculty Senate Newsletter | Newark, DE | Fall 2014-Fall 2015

  • Worked closely with a UD faculty member to create a newsletter for the University’s Faculty Senate twice a semester
